  • Description: This is a model documentary film about Alkis an autistic eleven-year-old boy who lives sealed in his own world and refuses to communicate. His French mother cannot stand the stress arising from her son’s situation and abandons her family and returns to France. His father, Dimitris Kollatos, who is also the director of the film, accepts his son’s right to live in a world of his own and always remains beside him, with the support of a psychologist. A strange communication develops between them, using bizarre codes which cannot be identified by other people, and while this form of communication is unusual, it is, in a sense, also liberating.
